Confidence and security. Oh, how I want my kids to be confident and secure in everything they do and in every relationship they have. There are lots of things I can do to nurture that. I can encourage them every day, trying to instill that "can do" attitude and I can provide a secure, stable home to live in. However, I think my biggest responsibility in this area is to help them develop a strong faith. Life-long confidence and security come from knowing we have God’s loving arms around us and we can depend on every promise He has made.
