I work at Beardsley Book and Bible store in Modesto, California. I have time and time again been blessed by the inspirational and annointed messages Roy Lessin has brought through Dayspring Cards. The new collection has me speechless. Each card speaks a special message to my heart. In the first day we had the collection displayed I sold many of the cards. Customers were speechless after reading the inspirational messages and one lady even cried over the card which tells the story of the worn out mother who felt her life counted for nothing. That, she said, was the story of her life. First of all, I just want to share from my heart “Glory to our Heavenly Father!!” I just love sending out encouraging cards to others, and was praying for a way to do so w/God’s word somehow incorporated and God provided your cards free to send to others!! It has been a Godsend for me cuz I’m a homemaker, but homebound. I love to encourage others, and send them a card, but don’t always have the means to do it, until this became available!! PtL!! I have been buying Dayspring Cards for approximately twenty-eight years and initially I had to travel over 120 miles to get them. I am a Canadian who first spotted them in a Christian store in Detroit, Michigan or perhaps it was Port Huron. You can imagine my chagrin when I found I could not get them at the local stores here in London Canada. I would make a trip to the United States to stock up on your cards. I spent so much on them that I had to stay for 48 hours so that I could make an eligible customs declaration. You can’t know how happy I am that I can now buy the cards here at the local Christian book stores. I mean I really like your cards but the gas and the hotel bills did make them a little expensive. I was first attracted by the words on the cards because I am a person who loves words. I found the words on Dayspring cards had just the right message for all occasions. There is such joy in what you say and the way you say it. They make you happy and uplift your spirit even when the cards are for those who are facing life’s hardest trials. The next step of course is the picture or art work. So many times pre DaySpring I would find just the right words but the picture left much to be desired. You have a way of putting it all together that makes any card give the recipient’s heart a blessing. I am so happy to be able to take the time to send you this little message to tell you how much your cards mean to me and to those I send them to. I discovered your web site a few months ago and in addition to sending cards by regular mail I have enjoyed sending e-cards. Now you have the music, picture, and words all in perfect harmony. On the spur of the moment I can send a card to someone who needs the message instantly and feel confident that they have gotten a spritual boost.

We just lost our 7-year-old son on Dec 30, 2000 in a sled-riding accident. It was and is an indescribable grief to go through. It is only through our faith, strength, and comfort from God that we go on each day. We received a beautiful Dayspring sympathy card with a quote from Roy Lessin on it. It was called the impact of one life. I really feel that quote speaks to our son, Kyle's life. At 7 years old, Kyle had great faith. More faith than a lot of people have in a lifetime. Although Kyle was on a respirator, he was declared brain dead. It was then that we decided to donate Kyle's organs so that other people would receive the gift of life. We would like to say thank you to Roy Lessin. This quote has given us such comfort. We have shared this quote with many people. One day, my Mom suggested I get the name of the company off the back of the card and see if I could find it on the Internet. As you can see, I did. I was so thankful to find the company and never dreamed you would actually have information about Roy Lessin on your web site. I, too, was surprised to find out he was living. Isn't it odd that we think most people who are quoted today are no longer living? I would also like Roy Lessin to know that we have been so touched by his quote that we are had it engraved on Kyle's monument. Kyle life truly did impact many lives during his short 7 years. He was so full of life. In his journal on the last day of school before Christmas he wrote: "I can't wait till Christmas. I love my Mom. I love my Dad. I like my church. I love my God. I love my Jesus." He was an incredible little boy. Five people received the gift of life from Kyle. He truly did have a great impact because his life was lived for Christ. Kyle has no tears now. He has no pain. He is on God's knee. I pray daily that God will give me peace, comfort and strength. He does and I praise him and thank him for that. God always gives us what we need. Thank you for all you do.
