Jill Kelly - Prayers of Hope for the Brokenhearted

I am one who has treasured books like this full of heart felt prayers for various situations and use them frequently in my own prayer times. I had a person in mind to give it to when I purchased it thinking I'd read it first, then take it to her. By the third prayer I knew she needed it NOW! It has already proven a blessing to her and I am ordering another to have on hand.

This book came at a perfect time in my life! I have so much swirling around in my life that is out of my control. These prayers were my communication back to my Heavenly Father. Thank you Jill for writing this book and I so look forward to hearing more from you in the future! Bless you!

I bought a copy for myself because I am a grief recovery specialist and I know it will help me personally and with my grief groups. I bought a copy for my father who is struggling with loneliness following my mother's death last summer. He has a close relationship with God, though, and this book will help him with that.

Sent this to my dear sister-in-law who has recently lost both her daughter and husband. This book (and the Scripture it is filled with) is providing much comfort.

I've recently had to put my mother in a nursing home after a botched surgery. It is breaking my heart to see her there. I read a page each night when I return from visiting her. I cry at the passage as I read it, but feel that I am intimately talking to God and that he is listening. I would unreservedly recommend that little book to anyone suffering emotionally and needing strength in their faith.
