Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me." Matthew 19:14 TLB
Dear Reviewers saying this would be better if it were KJV because that is the original Bible, please understand that the original Bible was written in Greek and Hebrew not English. The translators who worked for the English King James translated God's Word into the common English of their day. God's Word is the same, but our English language has changed considerably in the last 400 years. Modern translations help children know God's Word better than trying to teach them in the English that Shakespeare spoke. There is nothing holier about old English than new English. It is the ideas of God's Word itself that are holy. Wouldest thou respect me more were I to speak to thee in old ways?
I agree that all these recordable books as well as other books, gifts, card, would be better and I could and would buy them if they were KJV only. So sad to see all the confusion with so many different versions. Stick to the original; no need for something new here. It works.
These books allow us to be close even when we are far away. My babies know I love them and I get to impart my faith that is so precious to me to them.
As a grandmother it has been a wonderful experience to give recordable books to my grandsons. They "read" them often - they call them Gamma books. Them messages in the books are uplifting and worth the money.
This would've been a great book, as would all the recordable books you sell. Except for the fact that scripture is from TLB and not KJV. Hopefully sometime in the future you will offer KJV recordable books.
